- Will the people be unfriendly, or too friendly?
- Will it be easy to leave if I don’t enjoy it?
- Will they ask me for money?
- Will my kids enjoy it?
- How should I dress?

"A Cross Training Facility" Sequoia’s vision is that Sequoia Community Church and the Sequoia Recreation Centre would be a ‘Cross-Training' Facility; a place to meet the needs of the total person; spiritual, emotional, and physical. The centre would actively be involved in our community, offering recreational activities, programs and seminars. It would seek to be a place where people can discover how to live healthy, vibrant and abundant lives. ‘Anyone who calls on the Lord will be saved. But before people can ask the Lord for help, they must believe in him, and before they can believe in him, they must hear about him; and for them to hear about the Lord, someone must tell them’. |
