se to 300 people are experiencing the difference a personal, daily and vibrant relationship can make, as they engage in a church that helps people Connect to God, Grow with Others and Serve the World.
Sequoia’s DNA has always included being a church planting church. That’s why Sequoia helped plant Celebration Church! with a college and university focus back in 2002, and in 2012 we helped plant a Vietnamese congregation, called Good News Community Church. We are trusting God to open more doors for us to plant more churches in the years ahead. Our denominational family – the Canadian National Baptist Convention has a vision to see 1000 healthy, cooperating and reproducing churches by the year 2020. The CNBC currently have 270 churches across Canada which means there is a need for 730 new churches to be started over the next 10 years. Sequoia is committed to multiplying itself by planting more churches in the years ahead.
