This 3 hour class is designed to help people better understand that to Serve the World means to demonstrate and proclaim the gospel in a myriad of differen
t ways inside and outside the walls of the church. We cover the importance of service as rooted in the very heart of God, look at ways to identify spiritual gifts, and provide some practical help in sharing the gospel with others. Finally, we suggest some next steps to greater levels of service and leadership within Sequoia, positioning people for multiplication as disciple-making disciples. To register for the next class or for more information, please contact Donna Boisvert donnab@sequoiachurch.org.

Where can I go to share my pain and struggle?
Will anyone listen to me?
How can I overcome my struggle?
I feel so alone, and I'm afraid to tell anyone what's really happening in my heart.
Such thoughts and questions plague many Christians. The Living Waters' discipleship and prayer ministry addresses the roots of these emotional struggles. Living Waters can help you with the following issues (abuse, self-hatred, marital problems, addictions, pornography, co-dependency and even self-identified unwanted same-sex attraction) all these issues trap believers into unhealthy living and stops us from living the abundant life promised to us in scripture.
CrossCurrent is a 9 week program designed to allow you to discover God's perspective on relationships and sexuality in an open Christ-centered support group format. CrossCurrent addresses, in teaching and healing prayer sessions, how we can receive His Lordship (and healing) in our emotions, relationships and sexuality.
We are happy to announce that Living Waters Ottawa is going to hold a CrossCurrent program starting February 11th, the cost is $75 and the registration deadline is Jan 31, 2013.
If you are interested in this program or you have any questions please contact us. (men can talk to Robert Lussier - rob.livingwaters@gmail.com and women can speak to Isabelle Lussier - isa.livingwaters@gmail.com)
